Daniel Glaude is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator based in New York City. A native of Maine, Glaude moved to New York full time in 2012 after completing a degree in Jazz Performance and Purchase College. Since that time he has become a versatile and in-demand musician in New York’s jazz scene and beyond. Glaude has performed with many of the city’s finest large jazz ensembles including Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra, Ed Palermo Big Band, Scott Reeves Jazz Orchestra, Cecilia Coleman Big Band, Jason Marshall Big Band, and many others. Glaude has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Birdland, Smoke, the Blue Note, Gershwin Theater, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Grand Central Terminal, 92nd St. Y, the Iridium and many other New York landmarks. Other credits include recording and touring with a range of bands, playing off-Broadway shows, and performances with stars including Todd Rundgren and Dee Snider.
